The New York State Small Business Development Center offers disaster recovery and rebuilding. If your business has had physical or economic damage, or if you need help completing applications, sorting through loan options, or dealing with agency red tape, we can help. Our experienced advisors can help you assess your situation, get documentation together, explore finance options, plan ahead, and rebuild your business. There is no charge for the confidential assistance provided after a disaster.
Recovery and Rebuilding services offered by the SBDC include completing SBA disaster loan applications, gathering information about financial assistance and claim filing, and requesting loans, claims, and other assistance. We can also help to recreate lost financial records. Our trained advisors can assess environmental clean up options, help to develop an emergency response plan for your business, plan for rebuilding business and marketing, and developing a plan for business continuity in order to prepare for future disasters. In addition to problems that your business faces during the aftermath of a disaster, we can also identify and address other issues of concern to affected businesses.
Our goal is to help business owners recover and rebuild after a disaster occurs, in order to contribute to the stability and growth of the small business sector and the economy.
