The New York State Small Business Development Center is offering free Bidlinx services to New York State businesses and individuals who are SBDC clients. Bidlinx is a web-based service that identifies and locates request for proposals from government entities. If you have ever wanted to offer your products or services to government entities, the SBDC can help you get started. This service will cut hours of research time and will send appropriate bid opportunities straight to your email. If your business can benefit by offering products or services to federal agencies, New York State, county/local governments, all 50 states, U.S. territories, and international government websites, then Bidlinx is for you.
Contact your local SBDC Procurement Advisor to sign up. They will help you set up customized search criteria, and allow you to change your search criteria at any time in order get the results you want. You will receive daily emails containing links to your “bid leads,” contract awards, and other information that can be useful to your business. Bid leads will provide you with the information needed to contact any government agency opportunity that you are interested in, submit requests, and download documents that will allow you to begin the bid process.
