Shop Small, Staten Island!

Support your local small businesses – your friends, family, neighbors – on Saturday, November 25th.

Why are small businesses so important?

Because when customers spend where they live, communities get stronger, and main streets stay vibrant.

That’s why American Express founded Small Business Saturday and the Small Business Development Center is proud to be a supporting partner. It’s our mission, but it’s your day – and we couldn’t make it happen without you.

So this November 25th, we hope you’ll join us and take part in a movement that has energized communities across the country. Invite your friends, neighbors, family, and customers to Shop Small and show their love for small businesses.

Together, we can make it the biggest Small Business Saturday yet!

Get Social!

Participate virtually on Small Business Saturday by posting to social media with hashtags #ShopSmallStatenIsland and #ShopSmall.

Tag your local shops and friends as you’re out shopping to help spread the word. Be sure to follow and tag us throughout the day to get featured!

About American Express Small Business Saturday:
In 2010, American Express founded Small Business Saturday to help businesses with their most pressing need — getting more customers. The day encourages people to shop at small businesses on the Saturday after Thanksgiving. The single day has grown into a powerful movement, and more people are taking part than ever before. This year, the big day is Nov 25, 2017. Questions? For more information, visit ww.shopsmall.com.
